Integration of Advanced 5G Technology in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) with Cost-effective Satellite Support for Massive IoT

This project is an advance on existing experimental nanosatellite and picosatellite technology based on store and forward. We introduce a fully integrated development based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) technology with OTA (Over The Air Update) functions, using full duplex channels with 3GPP Release 17 compliant bandwidths for massive IoT data delivery.
The main goal of this project is to develop and integrate low-cost satellite networks into the 5G network, so that data can be sent to and from users without terrestrial coverage. This integration includes the development of a non-terrestrial terminal (NTN), an advanced 5G terminal and the simulation of the non-terrestrial link using a SDR (Software Defined Radio) radio system.
This project is mainly focused on sending data from multiple sensors and IoT devices.
