With the execution of this project, we aim to develop a minimalist and energy-efficient System-on-Chip that integrates a digital temperature sensor. This innovation will enable precise, low-cost, and sustainable monitoring solutions for sectors such as logistics, healthcare, and industry, where temperature control is critical.
This milestone represents an important step for BYTEK, allowing us to deepen our expertise in the field of microelectronics and within the domain of semiconductors, and to strengthen our position in the design of advanced solutions. By leveraging the open and modular RISC-V architecture, coolSoC not only advances sovereignty and technological independence in Spain and Europe, but also contributes to reducing electronic waste and supporting the transition toward a more sustainable digital ecosystem.
We are excited to embark on this journey and grateful for the trust placed in us. Projects like coolSoC strengthen Spain’s role in the semiconductor industry and open the door to new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and impact.
