Designed for both patients and their caregivers, Pileus helps you to remember to take your medication on time.
You only need your voice to interact with it.
It can answer you, keep track of each time you’ve taken or missed a medication, and share this information with your loved ones and caregivers. It can also play music and much more.

We, at the Amazon Alexa team in Spain are supporting BYTEK in their implementation of an Alexa built-in device. I have been really impressed with the BYTEK team, and their tech skills. We introduced them Alexa Voice Service and the tools and possibilities that it can bring to their concept of a smart pill holder, and only 4 weeks later, they came again with a working prototype!! They were able to designed and built it on their own with very low support. I have not seen this often. After that, they have evolved the concept and come up with an almost final design very fast. I also love their vision on how technology can help solving the challenges of the Health system, specially around polymedicated patients. and how they have integrated Alexa in the vision with their modular Cloudy solution. Medication errors are a major concern to healthcare systems because they can reduce the therapeutic effectiveness, either pose a health risk and represent an incremental cost for the healthcare systems and the insurance companies. In the Basque Health Cluster we think this project can provide an accurate solution to this international problem.
